Cot & Cot Bed Our new Nightynite™ range of top quality cot and cot bed mattresses allows you to select the perfect mattress to suit you and your baby's needs at an unbeatable price. Choose from nine popular sizes, bases made up from 28 or 50CMHR foam, sprung, pocket sprung or coir, waterproof protection, with a choice of different cover styles, and the best fabrics. Two cover styles, either the full zip on cover or the "Change and Go" with extra zip on zip off toppers (one for the wash). Both covers styles are available in either quilted microfibre or Coolmax© backed with Maxispace. These fabrics are luxurious and machine washable at 60°c. Microfibre is a huge improvement on the standard polyester covers that are readily available elseware. Coolmax© backed with Maxispace is an expensive fabric, however well worth the extra as it offers such excellent temperature control, durability, maximum breathability and a snuggly feel. All our cot and cot bed mattresses are anti-allergenic and conform to British Standards BS7177 and BS1877. Having worked in the nursery industry for countless years the demand for good quality, safe mattresses seemed to be a continuing trend. My wife, who is a midwife in a Neonatal Intensive Care unit, is frequently asked by concerned parents for information on buying mattresses. It became apparent to me that there is a need for a one stop shop for good quality cot mattresses on the Irish market. And with that I decided to research as much information as I could about cot mattresses; what standard to expect, the quality and source of materials, safety and comfort, the list goes on.
